Official Charity Partner

Mana Tāhuna Charitable Trust is the official charity partner for

Te Aka Tauwhiro.

Support from Te Aka Tauwhiro will help Mana Tāhuna grow, look after and plant Carex Secta seedlings around Wai Whakaata (Lake Hayes). Sown from seed, these riparian plants help draw pollutants out of the waterways to improve water quality. To engage rangatahi in conservation, Mana Tāhuna’s team plant these seeds with the help of local high school students.

How we will be supporting Mana Tāhuna during the meeting:

Te Aka Tauwhiro will:

  • Make a monetary donation in lieu of speaker gifts.
  • Promote Mana Tāhuna and their mahi during the meeting
